More awards for Shania
Shania Twain continues to win awards even though she has been in a hiatus for more than a year.
Monday, she was a big winner at the SOCAN music awards in Toronto. The awards are presented annually by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada, recognizing the Canadian songwriters whose work received the most radio, film and television airplay in 1999.
Twain and her husband and writing partner Robert (Mutt) Lange dominated the country awards category, receiving recognition for five songs: From This Moment On, Man! I Feel Like A Woman, That Don't Impress Me Much, You're Still The One and You've Got A Way.
