I know all this information is known by all of you, but I found it very interesting to post because it talks about some facts about Shania in Germany. You must remember Shania was inducted into their walk of stars. Also I'm not really sure about those facts, and some of them are not up to date too.

"The Woman In Me" und "Come On Over" haben beide die begehrte "Diamond Certification" von der RIAA in den USA erhalten - für 10 Millionen verkaufter Exemplare.
Shania ist neun Mal für den Award der "Country Music Association" nominiert worden und wurde 1999 als "Entertainer Of The Year" ausgezeichnet.
"Come On Over" hat mittlerweile 34 Millionen Exemplare verkauft und Platin-Status (oder mehr) in über 32 Ländern erreicht: (u.a.) 21-fach Platin in Kanada, 17-fach Platin in Australien, 15-fach Platin in den USA, 11-fach Platin im UK, 9-fach Platin in Indonesien und 5-fach Platin in Holland und Norwegen.

"Come On Over" ist das meistverkaufte Album einer Frau aller Zeiten und an sechster Stelle überhaupt - und gleicht damit "Back In Black" von AC/DC und "With The Beatles" von den Beatles aus.
"UP!" hat sich in Deutschland fast 800.000 mal verkauft (Stand März 2004). Es ist als Doppel- und Einzelalbum erhältlich; beide Versionen haben inzwischen Doppelplatinstatus. Es hat fast 1,5 Jahre nach seinem Erscheinen im November 2002 noch keinmal die Top 50 der deutschen Media Control Charts verlassen.
Insgesamt 27 Wochen befand es sich in den Top 10 der deutschen Albumcharts (Stand März 2004). Und erstaunlicherweise stieg das Album 40 Wochen nach Veröffentlichung, im August 2003, zum ersten Mal auf Platz 1 der deutschen Albumcharts.
Shania hat 22 BMI Songwriting-Awards erhalten.
