so, now that it is probable that the baby is for sure here.. who does everyone think that Mutt and Shania will have as godparents??(of course there will be 50 million fans that will love to be honorary Godparents...lol). i am guessing Carrie-Ann and possibly one of Shania's brothers or maybe Bryan Adams.. does Mutt have any brothers does anyone know?? i know that he has a sister..SHANIA FAN FOREVER AND ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT!!! I don't know how it is in USA. I mean godparents are only for Catholics, but in many european countries there is godparents no matter what religion. I have godparents and some of my friends even have like three godmothers.

No, godparents are for any religion. It's just two people who may resume legal guardianship if ever the biological parents should be of this world no more.

No, there are godparents in every christian religion, at least.. i don't know if there are in the Jewish religion or anything but.. i am not Catholic and i have godparents. so does everyone i know and most of them are not Catholic.. like Amanda said, it is people that resume guardianship if anything happens to the parents and also someone who is there to support and be there for the child through their life. SHANIA FAN FOREVER AND ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT!!!
