How is EJA pronounced!

When they announced the birth of EJA on CMT MWL, how did they pronouce the name!

It's not ASIA right?
It's sounds like Asia.

The E doesn't sound like a long A in Asia! Is the E is pronounced like E in the word elegant then you add the JA after the E sound!!! Sorry, I probably didn't describe the sounds properly(silent e, long A ect..)

Anyone know how to pronounce it?

Ya, I think your right. If they wanted it to sound like an A they would have spelled it AJA! So I guess it's an E sound!

But then why does every news site say it's pronounced ASIA!!!
