Shania Twain gave birth to a baby boy on August 12th. Eja (pronounced like "Asia") was born to Twain and husband/producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, who reside in Switzerland. News of Twain's pregnancy and the birth of their son had been under wraps and details of the birth are undisclosed.
Lange and Twain first teamed up in 1993 -- and married that same year -- to make the The Woman in Me, which would become her breakthrough album in 1995.

Shania Twain gives birth to baby boy
TORONTO (CP) -- Canadian country singer Shania Twain has given birth to a boy.
Country.com reported Tuesday that Eja was born Aug. 12.
Twain and husband Robert John (Mutt) Lange live in Switzerland and have kept the pregnancy and birth hush-hush.
The Web site says Twain's publicist confirmed the birth on Monday but wouldn't give details.
Twain, of Timmins, Ont., and Lange have been married since 1993. The baby is the couple's first child. (More on Shania Twain)
