The goal of this plan is simple. Large markets aren't playing the single because it isn't performing on the charts. All this time we have tried to get them to play. What a dumb thing to do! Now, we need to refocus our energy on medium to small markets. The spins are there, and so is a limited audience base. Most Americans will hear the song through here. Also in focus are national syndicated programs. These programs are played on large markets and reach amazing amounts of listeners. Always start at the top with the national shows, especially After Midnite. Request at (7) large markets, especially those that you are notified about. The markets are always listed biggest to smallest, the big stations matter more than the little ones, remember that!

-Chris Actually I don't see this new thread as helping any. It did not matter if the other thread was getting too long or not as all of the requesting info was on the first page and 1st 2 posts for everyones requesting convenience.


Also posting it the way that you have it is not convenient for everyone because it is hard enough just to get people to request, now they have to go and look for the request link and or dj info.....just takes too much time.

There are very small gains, very small losses. You can see the big supporters and those that just refuse. Please, I am begging all who read, find a station that is negative plays or without plays, go to the top, click the station, and send a request. One a day makes a difference. KZLA says that they get more emails about playing Shania than not playing her. So please help out, and let's get a single that deserves to be #1 right up to the top spot!!

WMZQ, KZLA, and all the Dallas stations are a constant problem, since her return.

There always were stations which refused to play her, an that's why she doesn't had a #1 since 1998.

I think top 10 is a much better aim, this industry will not give her a #1 - even not with Quitter.

I see that Jud posted one earlier...this is from R&R. It includes all 116 stations. Now let's get busy requesting. This chart includes data collected 3/5 so it is a little outdated, but I think it will give us an idea of who is being reluctant especially with the top 25 markets.

WGGY-FM/Wilkes-Barre in addition to playing "Don't!" 20 times this week played "I'm Not In the Mood (To Say No)" 5 times this week. I just thought that was interesting!;)

STATIONS OF THE WEEK
Well, in the midst of all of the negative things surrounding country radio...I have decided to highlight two country stations that we can all call the "Country Stations of the Week." This week's stations of the week are: KTEX-FM/McAllen/Brnsvlle who played Shania's "Don't!" 22 times (an increase of 10 spins from last week) and WOGI-FM/Pittsburgh who played Shania's "Don't" 19 times this week (an increase of 8 spins from last week). WOGI-FM is a large market station and practically the only one that "Don't!" saw a significant gain at this week.

Keep up the good work Shania fans! ;)
