One Little Victory

This is just a story of ,one little victory, to show you ,you are not helpless and that you can win sometimes.
At the ,CMT, borads it seemed that anything said about Shania was o.k. " shania is a porn queen" ect.........things like that.
I complained about this 3 times in the last 2 months.No response.None. Nothing happened and IT continued.
Today I wrote and said,
" there is an obvious anti shania bias here by the moderators here.I am copying all of these threads and contacting Mercury,get a lawyer."
Well ,in 2 hours later I got a response."We are presently removing all those threads................report any other abuse" and they gave me a special place to right them back,interesting,isn't it.?:HG :GH


Also ,people may think our efforts are a waste of time.I agree that this thing will blow over when she tours.
But I forgot a very important lesson in life.What goes around comes around and good people like Shania and Mutt usually win in the end because their motives are pure and honest.Sometimes bad things happen to great people,but I believe it all comes out in the wash.

ALRIGHT CANADA ROCKS!!!!!!!:D :D :D I've been over there a few times and told them to stop bashing Shania, and your right it never phases them. That is the funniest story. They are getting more people standing UP! for Shania over there. There are not so many bashers as there once were. That kinda stuff don't need to be posted anyway. That stuff is just dirty! There is a thread over there called Shania just blows, period. They are saying that Shania should get the next Grammy award for a Milli Vanilli performance.:rolleyes: They said it's interesting that us Shania fans are quick to jump on them for saying bad things about her. But we wouldn't do it if the tables were turned. Well, CanadaRocks, might wanna get rid of that one!

Now for the life of me I can't figure out their reasoning for the Milli Vanilli statement! Unlike Milli Vanilli, even IF or when Shania doesn't sing live it really is her own singing voice being used! And for sure Shania will get lots more Grammy's, and for the REAL thing, that beautiful voice of hers!!! :band

whats incredible stupid is that if they [ and some of the press ] bothered doing even the smallest amount of reserch they would see that she aready had a major tour and Nashville gave her a contract because of her singing ability, before she met Mutt.. :duh!

I argued that she had a tour and their responce was ,'so did M.V.
and they also won a grammy'.TRUE.

I think 34 major awards and singing as a pro since she was 11 years old is alittle different than M.V.:duh!

I have not posted on that site in over a month and despite 2 requests to the owners for that thread AND my profile to be removed from the site they both still remain.

They want to think about the roots of C & W and where I was born (Scotland) and where I work just now (Ireland) before they spout off. And as for the remark about the IRA, well really!

The thing is, Eilleen Twain knows she has great fans, and she is as proud of us as we are of her. They can say as many nasty things as they want, it will not change us or Shania. I find it a little sad they way they go on.

People who don't have anything better to do and stupid critics just come up with these stupid accusations. If a singers voice does not sound like Celine Dion/Whitney Houston ect. they immediately think that they can't sing live. But to say that Shania is like Milli Vanilli is just ridiculous!!!!:mad: How many times has Shania proved that she can sing live. She does not mime in her concerts wich should at least put and end to these people but no....

And the same was always said and WILL always be said about every single boygroup that comes around, The Spice Girls had to deal with these accusations and Britney Spears....... So it's like I said, if their voices is not perfectly stunning, they are always gonna have to hear about it.

I think some just can not stand anyone else being a success! I am glad when others do well, and they in turn give me the motivation to better myself should I wish.

I really find some of the anti artiste posts very sad indeed, even the current fuss over Michael Jackson over the top. Why do some have to try and spoil others enjoyment of the success there talent has brought them.
