Cameras at the concert

I see alot of concert pics posted and I too want to bring my camera, however I am worried that they will not let me in or take the camera away. I have a digital camera with a powerfull optical zoom lens, so I would rather use that instead of trying to sneak in a disposable camera. Any suggestions??

It seems so far that most venues do not allow cameras with zooms..nothing above 35 mm....in most cases, especially if you are close to the stage, they will likely ask you to put it down...but in few cases they have done nothing.. In the end, a disposable camera is the best option to be sure to avoid problems, but also if you have the digitical camera with the zoom and you use it with care it may work...it really depends on the specific venue it seems...:GL

I'd recommend you to wear a jacket, and then you can attach your camera to a cord, and put it on your back. This serves if your camera is small. BTW, they are not checking you very well, but you must be careful about how to use it during the concert, but I know for sure Shania doesn't care about it.
But if you consider this is too risky, then you should try a disposable camera. :)
