A: John, for two years the word from Shania Twain's label has been "new music, perhaps this year." But, then Shania had to deal with the breakup of her marriage to her producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Shania showed up at the CMA Awards last year and said it herself, that she's working on new music and looking forward to releasing it soon. How soon?maybe this year (but we've heard that before). Let's hope it is this year.

I saw this on another site. My bet is that if she does in fact release a new album this year, it will be in November like in the past. I hope it would be sooner, but I resigned myself now to just put it out of mind until all the rumors have been exhausted and the true news comes that we have a firm date. Some are saying around other sites that they doubt she will have another CD, that she has everything she wants and won't bother with it again, but I don't believe that. She has so much to say in her music, and especially now with all that has happened to her in the last year, that as a writer and performer, she probably needs to express that in her own mind. So, I for one don't believe she has packed in her career just yet. I think it is just a matter of when and where she does it. Until then, we can't do anything but sit back and wait, because it I believe it will happen. :)

I agree, Steve! I guess we will just have to wait and see what she does! I hope she comes back pretty soon! :)
