Are you from Timmins??
 

Believe it or not, a lady approached me at Pearl Ridge Mall today and excitedly asked me "are you from Timmins??" I wanted to HUG her! Ha! I said "no, but we love visiting there when we can!" She said she spent 6 months there, and she couldn't believe it when she saw my Timmins, Canada t-shirt. I told her I love it there, it is so beautiful. She agreed and said it's just gorgeous up there.

Don't expect to run into someone like that here in Hawaii. If I wasn't worrying about chasing Cody down, I would have stuck around and talked to her more. But how cool is that???

That's really something Sheri! We often run into people from Rhode Island or from Florida, and I've seen a couple of big rigs from Timmins at our turnpike toll gates, but from Hawaii to Timmins? That has to be very unique. :)

I have have people here in California ask me if I'm from Timmins when they see me wear a Timmins shirt...it is exciting. But what does make me laugh is when they see one of my Shania stitches and ask me if she is my daughter...and I always say...I wish. But most of the people who see a Shania stitch know exactly who she is!!

I can't imagine you would be old enough for that Deb. Maybe? I'm defiinitely old enough. I have a daughter nearly her age. Shania is still so gorgeous I think people tend to forget she is by today's standards "middle-age"! hehe
