I have to say the fabulous falls 2.0 totally blows her original band away.

Show #2 was awesome everyone was more relaxed and Shania just let loose the audience stood from the middle of from this moment to the finale. Very un-Vegas like. :) it was very much Shania concert like :) she just upped the competition. Her fellow performers now need to step up. Shania loves to disrupt genres lol :)

I would love to get these new versions of her classic songs on CD. I hope she records a blu-ray of her show with some behind the scenes footage before her run here is over.

I hope so too. They did one for Celine that I have, and it is very nice, so why not Shania at some point.

Good to know that. Wonder if there were others in the audience for the 2nd show, whom we knew were at 1st show, besides you and Richard.

It would be cool if she recorded some of these updated versions of the classic songs. Most of them have different endings, and a completely different overall sound then they do on the albums, even from previous live shows. She does have a more soulful voice now, more like it used to be on Shania Twain, and The Woman In Me would be the closest comparison. Rock This Country done acoustically around the campfire was awesome!!!

Up! was closer to the Superbowl version than anything on the albums. Outta Here was not quite the dance version from Top of the Pops, but more with a rock than pop edge to it. The big finale Man I feel like a woman was completely over the top!! The rock intro the band does to it before the familiar opening riff was incredible along with the thunder, lightening and fire and light show that accompanied it.

From this moment's arrangement was closest to the solo version. It was so cool when Shania ends the song and descends into the stage under the "snow".

The intro into YSTO is a forest, then a forest fire with the black horse trapped, running through the flames, the fire is replaced with snow, the trees turn white, and so does the horse. The burning forest symbolizes renewal and Shania comes out on a white horse. She dismounts and starts to sing, the horse follows her around like a puppy dog. After YSTO, the stage transforms into a snow shower in the forest, and sheets on the stage floor act as snow drifts that Shania walks through.

Some added thoughts about the concert. To me there is more than what you saw or what you heard, but it's what you "felt". For those that know of Shania's life, and I'm sure most of the 4,000 plus that attended know, how could you feel anything but admiration and such heart warmth thankfulness for her life and her music. Her thoughts about her mother seeing her successes brings to mind what a religious person once said. Those on the other side know us and they are concerned about us. Who more than our ancestors would have more interest about our life here. They know our thoughts, our emotions, and our feelings. There is no doubt in my mind that her mother was there, December 1, 2012, and will be there for her, always.

If no one else felt her mother there on opening night-she did.

Ill admit when she started to talk about losing her mom I got all choked up and started to tear up. Having just lost my dad I could totally relate to the feelings she was talking about
