Thinking about Joni
 

I just wanted to take a minute to post a message in remembrance of Joni. I know all of the board veterans remember her. For the newbies, Joni was an awesome Shania fan who organized the board's annual fundraiser among other things. She passed away a few years ago in a car accident.

We miss you, Joni!

Maybe we need to start up that fundraiser once again for Shania Kids Can.

I met Joni once, when we met in Timmins for the opening of the STC. We also used to get online to discuss the latest episode of Alias.

I am so happy to see your post...I think often about Joni..I still miss her so much....she was truly a wonderful person....now wonder she touched so many people in the Shania community and beyond. Once Shania is back in full force, we really need to do something for the fundraiser connected to Joni.... :) :group:

PS. I ask myself at times when I am in doubt: What would Joni do? It always helps me.....!

I think about her often, too. Nice to see a conversation about her.

It seems we all thought about her lately.

Whenever something new (and unpredictable) is happening in Shanialand I ask myself what Joni would have say? She was such a level headed person with such a great sense of humor, and a lot of wit and knowledge.

She is always missed here.
