Shania's Charity Auctions NOW ON EBAY!
 

On page 142 of the Nov. 21st People (with Kenny Chesney on the front) there is a small mention of Shania. It says this:

"Hat's Off: Shania Twain and friends are putting their heads together to help her favorite charity. The singer persuaded celebs including LeAnn Rimes and Jewel to decorate Stetson cowboy hats that will be sold on eBay. All proceeds go to America's Second Harvest, which fights hunger across the U.S. The auction, sponsored by Stetson Fragrances, begins on Nov. 17, to coincide with the Country Music Association Awards, and ends on the 24th."


There's a pic of LeAnn Rimes and 2 hats decorated by LeAnn and Chris Isaak. Sorry if this has already been posted.

There are so many ways to raise money and awareness. That's great! HEY1 I was surprised to see Chris Isaak. I met him at one of his concerts. He seems like a real nice person. :) I hope they raise a lot.

Get ready to bid on some star-studded Stetsons

Shania Twain and Stetson fragrances have teamed up with some of Nashville's and Hollywood's hottest celebrities to host a charity auction that benefits America's Second Harvest.


Shania Twain and Stetson Fragrances asked A-listers, such as Teri Hatcher, Alan Jackson, LeAnne Rimes, Chris Isaak, Marcia Cross, Jewel and LeAnne Womack, to add a bit of their own personal flare to a traditional J.B. Stetson Cowboy Hat.

Starting Nov. 17, fans can bid on these one-of-a-kind celeb hats, as well as a bottle of Shania's fragrance, Shania by Stetson.

All proceeds from the auction will go to America's Second Harvest to help fight hunger across the country.

America's Second Harvest, a domestic hunger-relief organization founded in 1979, distributes nearly 2 billion pounds of food and grocery products each year.

After witnessing the bidding action between Shania fans over her hockey jersey in Timmins, I know Shania's hat will be one of the highest for charity. Great idea Shania! This is probably what she will talk about in the appearances to come.

Don't forget about this and pass the word around to radio stations so it can be a success:)
