CMT Canada has a new segment called CMT 30 hosted by Paul McGuire, it premiered here in Canada October 3rd.

Sunday night's airing of the latest in news in 30 mins., featured among other artists an interview with Shania during her mini Canadian fragrance promo tour. Shania was asked about the fragrance and how she chooses the particular smell, to which she replied she tries several scents on her friends and Mutt and Eja.

Shania was also asked about her upcoming project on the Anne Murray Duets album to which Shania replied, she was extremely honored to of been asked to sing with Anne Murray whom she loves as a person and finds her voice one of the purest and original.

Part II of this small interview will be next week – Sunday night. Shania talks about her new music coming next year.

Hopefully Dax recorded it, and will be able to make captures. It sucks not being able to watch these interviews, when you don't live in Canada.

When she discusses new music in part II, I think fans shouldn't get disheartened, or feel any negativity towards her if she says, she doesn't know if the album will be out for 2008 and if she's still finding it a struggle to focus on the writing, being creative.

The interview was so short, honestly not worth recording. Shania wore the same animal print top as in previous interviews. The only interesting part was Shania confirming the Anne Murray Duets project and that she is a part of it and hopefully, next week more news on her next album.

I would record it even if was short, it's just great to see Shania on our screens. Too bad, I don't live in Canada and can't access these shows.

I recorded it when it replayed yesterday and i got the first part.Its on again today but i dont know if it will be part 2.Caps will pretty much look like the last ones but i will try and make some tonight.

Sounded like a nice interview! At least we can buy Anne's CD w/Shania on it to hear her until her own new music comes out!! :)
