I don't know. When the CMA nominees were announced a while ago , they said that Brooks and Dunn were the hosts of the show but that there were also going to be a few "special guests" to help B&D with the hosting duties (each "special guest" hosting a small portion of the show). They said that Shania was the first "special guest" and that the other guests still had to be named. What made it strange was that as time went by, no other "special guests" were announced. Maybe they changed their minds about how they wanted to structure the show... I don't know, but I guess I'm still hoping that she is still sharing hosting duties, and perhaps has even a bigger share of the hosting duties since she is now the only "special guest".


Oh, by the way, I think that comment about helping Shania's career was obviously meant to be a joke.
