I realize this is a few days early, but I wanted to start a Pittsburgh thread and give people who are coming into Pittsburgh Monday night the heads-Up!

Just as an early warning, Pittsburgh rush hour traffic can be horrendous. Between around 4:30 pm to around 6:30 pm, traffic going into Pittsburgh can literally be backed up for hours. And the downtown area, where the Mellon Arena is located, can be the worst.

I'd strongly suggest to those coming into Pittsburgh Monday night to get there as early as possible, before rush hour traffic hits. I plan on being in the city by 5:00, and I'll probably eat dinner before the show.

From what I've heard, the opening act hits the stage at 7:30, and Shania takes the stage around 8:15. So give yourself plenty of time to get to the arena, just in case traffic is crazy on Monday.
