Actually the exchange rate makes it better for those of us living here in the USA. As of today's rate, one US dollar buys $1.11 in Canada, so your dollar goes a little bit farther in Canada. That however is the worst rate that I've seen in years. About 3 years ago, a US buck used to be worth $1.25 or more in Canada.
