Three New Cuts Join Twain's 'Greatest'
A trio of new songs will appear among the first collection of Shania Twain's "Greatest Hits." Due Nov. 9 from Mercury, the 21-track set will be led by the single "Party for Two," which appears on the album in two different versions.
Twain recorded one take of "Party" with Sugar Ray vocalist Mark McGrath, while another was completed with country newcomer Billy Currington. Videos for both versions were recently shot in Europe. The other new cuts on "Greatest Hits" are "Don't!" and "I Ain't No Quitter."
The rest of the disc consists of tracks from Twain's 1995 breakthrough, "The Woman in Me" and follow-up albums 1997's "Come on Over" and 2002's "UP!," all released via Mercury. There are no tracks representing her 1993 self-titled debut.
Among the featured songs are "Any Man of Mine," "(If You're Not In it for Love) I'm Outta Here" and "No One Needs To Know," all of which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
"I wanted to put together all of my favorite songs from over the years for a fun, high energy album," Twain says in a statement. "This record is exactly that, as well as a dedication to all of the passionate fans that have enjoyed and supported me throughout the years."
