THE ONE FUND Boston 2013

I will be running in the 2014 Boston Marathon in support of THE ONE FUND BOSTON 2013. My family and I got to witness first hand the human tragedy and ultimate human triumph of the bombing at last years Boston Marathon. I was very close to the finish line when the bombs went off and was able to get very close to the blast site to try help the victims before one of Boston's finest refused to let me go any closer (trust me there is a great story around that occurrence!). My son and wife were directly across the street from the carnage but thankfully were uninjured. To see such an iconic American event as the Boston Marathon ended by the senseless uncaring actions of blatant terrorists was painful to the core but they picked on the wrong group of people to attack. They also picked on the wrong town. Since the tragedy the running world of marathoners across the country have united in long term support of the injured spectators of that day and in a promise to rebuild the businesses that were damaged by that senseless blast at the finish line. We have vowed to stand up and be BOSTON STRONG! You'll see our strength and commitment at this years Boston Marathon-I promise.
