I thought country music was about the "country music"
Anyone else getting tired of the hypocrasy of the industry??? I know I am. I have stayed "country music cd free" since 2003.

I think we have already seen the ONLY huge star country music will ever have.
Country music these days is a confused mish-mash of trash with no direction or definitve sound of any kind.
If this list indicates the music business today, the future is in big trouble. All I can say is thank God for Shania,we will always be able to count on her for great innovative music!
If these artists on this years list are so great, why were they not included on the Forbes list. The Forbes list indicates who really is on top of their game.
