Finally got home from work (Yes. I'm finally back to work after chemotherapy! It feels good.) I just watched the tape of Shania on Oprah and all I can say is "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!" This was one of the best Shania TV appearances I have ever seen in all my years as a Shania fan. No, this definitely was the best. I was moved. She and Dolly have so much in common. They are beautiful, talented individuals with hearts of gold. Shania sang Dolly's song so well, with such passion, that it took my breath away. When Shania sang "She's Not Just A Pretty Face", I thought she sang with more energy and conviction than at any other time.
It's not often that Shania loses her composure (if ever), so when she was shedding tears in front of a live audience and in front of millions of TV viewers, I shed a few right along with her. She is one special lady.
