I won't be able to attend (and I'm more heartbroken about it than words can possibly express), but my boss was (un)kind enough to fill his calendar for August with trial and/or trial prep activity, and I wouldn't be allowed to take vacation during that time. (the words I feel about THAT can't be expressed, either.)
I wouldn't have been able to, anyway, I suppose. I'll be having surgery in mid-February and will be off work for several weeks following that. It would be a bit much to be away for vacation in addition to that. I wonder, though... do I just sacrifice the vacation then?? Or... does that mean I add it to next year which would also freak him out because we would be talking about a total of 6 weeks away from work again. Hmm....

I look forward to seeing old friends at the convention and making new ones.....
Plans are starting to come together and I think we will have some great new events for everyone!!

Jack and I are planning on being there. With cbspock's help I'm working on an idea for a stitch for the conventions auction...let you all know more about it wihen I get it all figured out. Again Chris, thanks for the help putting together the picture that I want to stitch.
