I'm apologizing that I didn't get to this sooner, but we have been awfully busy the last week or so. On June 8th, at about 8:30 p.m., our youngest daughter Crystal and her husband Brian became first time parents. Our 4th granddaughter is Addison Virginia. We are very pleased her middle name is in honor of my mother who passed away on January 18th of this year. Crystal had told her grandmother she would give her Virginia as a middle name for the baby before mom died since they knew it would be a girl. Crystal wanted to be surprised, but Brian wanted to know. Anyway, Crystal told my father at the hospital on Saturday that she had told mom and that she was very pleased. Dad was at a loss for words, but was very happy at the same time. We are all sorry mom didn't get to see her latest great-granddaughter. Addison weighed in at 6 lbs. & 12 ounces. We thought she would be going home yesterday, but she has jaundice which is common and has to stay longer. I know I am being a grandfather, but she is a beautiful baby!

I am a new member to the Shania Boards. I am very glad for your family. I really love children. You know one day you will turn aound and that little girl will fill the crib she looks so tiny in. It just seems like yesterday that my parents a beautiful new crib for my daughter, and then she had to go and graduate from high school on me last week. Oh, how time flies. Now she has plans on getting married in October! Hold that baby tight before you know it she will be grown.

It just seems like yesterday my parents bought my daughter a new crib, and then I turned around last week and she graduated from high school (which she did). Now she plans to marry the boy down the street in October of this year. Time sure does go fast.
