Country artists do better among top-performing music tours
NASHVILLE, Tenn. Country music acts are one of the few highlights in an off year for concert tours.
At least seven of the 25 top grossing tours this year are likely to be country artists. According to music industry trade magazine Billboard, this is up from five last year and only two a few years ago.
Among the hot tickets are Kenny Chesney, Shania (Shuh-NEYE'uh) Twain, Toby Keith and Tim Mc-Graw.
Meanwhile, the rest of the industry has struggled. The concert industry trade magazine Pollstar reported in its midyear analysis that the nation's top 50 summer amphitheaters suffered a 35 percent decline in ticket sales.
Tours by popular acts including Incubus, the Dead, Gloria Estefan, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen and Aerosmith have drawn smaller crowds than expected

I guess they wanted to make sure people knew how to pronounce Shania's name after the Mayor flubbed it.
