Greatest Hits On ABC Thursday
I've been watching a show called "Greatest Hits" the last few weeks on ABC. They started from 1980-1985 and last night was 2000-2005. I have enjoyed it for the most part.
I had two highlights from last night's show. The first was Little Big Town singing Alicia Keys song "Fallen". They did a fabulous job with it. But, what I waited for was one of the hosts Kelsea Ballerini to sing. She is one of the new talents I am not all that familiar with, but she is good. It wasn't particularly about the time period for last night. She wanted to sing a medley of songs of performers she admired growing up. They were Shania, Train, and Britney. I am attaching it in case you want to watch if you did not know about it before.

I thought it was surprisingly good. It is about the first 1:30 of the video

Wow! I love Kelsea, and she did an amazing job on this. Thank you for sharing, Steve! I knew this performance was coming up, but not having seen the show regularly...I wasn't exactly sure when this one would air.

Yeah, some things about the show bothered me like nothing about the Eagles? Wow! Only the biggest artists of the 80's and early 90's. Plus Juice Newton, Linda Ronstadt. I've heard other artists cover her songs now and then, but I thought Kelsea put the right spin on it and felt it! I read up on her. Sounds like she is doing well.
All in all it has been a good show. There was enough for me to watch even though I am not into rap, R&B that much. I say that because there were some good songs that I like too. Bonnie Raitt was great and Kenny Loggins is awesome.
They are letting people vote on their favorite era and stars for the 2 hour finale next Thursday.

No Eagles or Linda Ronstadt?? Wow. I have been born in the mid 1990s but even I enjoy their music and know it quite well. At least they touched on some of Bonnie's music because she is great.
This is sort of related but I think a judging slot on The Voice would boost her exposure. Even America's Got Talent, if Heidi does leave? It was rumored a few years ago...and not a single judge on AGT is American, so it could work. Haha.
