This was kind of funny
This was an interesting Shania reference...
Rascal Flatts is a country band in terms of its recent domination of the country market but not in terms of sound. Their 90-minute performance was pure middle-of-the-road pop-rock with some flourishes of fiddle and steel here and there. Shania Twain is Mother Maybelle Carter by comparison.

That is a funny comment, Chris! When I listen to some of the currrent country music coming out of the radio today, I can't believe how Nashville embraces that, but Shania got all this critisism and if you ask me, I think Shania's music had more country to it than this Rascal Flatts!!!

Listen how country TWIM sounds compared to music now. They were barking up the wrong tree when they were attacking her.

yeah, I thought too it worth to post.
And so true. TWIM is a traditional country album compared to some material out there. especially the slower songs.

When Shania recorded the "TWIM" it was country and also innovative!!! Now, Carrie Underwood may be selling records, not as many as Shania did though, and she can sing good, but she is not original or innovative like Shania and Mutt were!!
