Thats great news Sheri! Looking forward to seeing you ,Sam and Cody next summer.

Andrea...I would also check with the Canadian Customs regulations regarding transport of animals over the boarder. In some cases a six month quarantine is required. It would be a shame to get all the way to the Canadian boarder just to be turned away. Also make sure you have USA papers for the animal too.... US Customs regulations are very strict and you'll need to prove the animal crossed the boarder with you when you went into Canada.

Those are facts.

Well then, back to the topic at hand....who is registered for Fan/Con3?????

Here is info about bringing pets into Canada... <

http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cp...html#P174_10300

You can also check here...

http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english...ort/dogse.shtml

But make sure to also check the regulations with US customs to ensure you`ll be able to bring your dog BACK to the US after the fan con...

It's a picture I borrowed from a site when I was going through my "What breed should this puppy be" stage. That's not him! The German Shepherd picture I shown is my dog. His name is "Rookie," but "Rook" for short. Because he's my first dog, I ever own that wasn't whole family's, he's going to be first dog I take through classes, and I LOVE baseball!!!! So my co-workers told me to use baseball term. I wanted him to be named "Wrigley" after "Wrigley Field" but one of our customers has a dog with it already.

But anyway....He's staying home because his house-breaking skills is still in works and it's going to probably take 6-7 months for him to be well trained in his cage. I don't think it would be smart if I did take him to Fan Con and he does his accidents in my car and in a hotelroom

But my co-workers said there shouldn't been problem to take him through boarder since lots of her friends take their dogs to Canadian dog shows. So least I know that for future reference.

Wrigley! What a GREAT idea to name a pet! Rookie's cute, too. Every team has them, eh? Maybe this will be the year for the Cubs (I do keep hoping!!)

Great news Richard, I have internet access from my Workshop. Would have been nice to have it in my Cabin too, but this is cool.

Right the chap I have relieved is having visa problems so I am on board doing the rest of his tour of duty which was until the 2nd of June, if that is the case then I will be going home on the 3rd as planned.

Hardly worth my while getting here as it took a week and now only 2 weeks work, but heck what fun. I am in the Oil and Gas capital of Malasia, Lapour and we are heading for the Kingdom of Bruni to lay some concrete mats over pipelines to protect them from the fishermen round these parts.

We need a bigger push Richard to keep up the momentum for the convention registrations. Everyone can help here, we have to more than double this years numbers and that is gonna be tough, so let's all turn on and tap into that Shania Fan Power and help reverse some of the un healthy things that have been going down in Timmins city hall of late!!!

CU soon Richard for a mid term spot of Timmins R & R!
