Shania And A Fan Reunite 12 Years Later
Shania Twain makes a surprise appearance and signs autographs while waiting for Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant in Toronto
(July 13, 2008) – We were waiting at Pearson Airport in Toronto for Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant to arrive in town for his concert with Alison Krauss. To our surprise - we stumbled upon an even rarer sighting….SHANIA TWAIN arriving at Toronto airport off an international flight. Never an easy one to catch up too - it’s been 12 years since we last seen Shania - she has been even more reclusive to date with her recent personal problems. Shania was more than happy to sign a few items and pose for pictures with us.

She looks good, no matter what she is wearing (and notice, she has gone for the natural look) and I don't think shades make her look older at all.

I thought it was kind of neat for the both of them to meet again after 12 years! She kind of looks alittle older in the sunglasses, but then the pic is a closeup. She still looks good though!!

She has been through a lot lately -- I'm sure it has taken its toll on her.
That, and she isn't really wearing any makeup. Plus, I think the color of her hair has something to do with it.
She still looks gorgeous!

I think she looks much better in that picture than the picture we saw right after news of the divorce -- though I still think the picture just made her look frail.

I think she looks wonderful for what she is going through! Shania and I are the same age, and let me tell you she looks a whole lot better than I do. And I can tell you first hand that marriage break-ups do take a BIG toll on the body both physical and of course emotionally. I just went through a family crisis with my parents, who have been married for 43 years, and when I was visiting them my mother told me they were splitting up, it felt like someone just hit me in the stomach. The news of them splitting really took a toll on me (physically I fell like I should be 70), so I can only imagine what Shania is going! If this is how I feel with my parents splitting I do not think I would be able to handle it if my husband left me. I wish Shania and Eja all the strength in the world to make it through this!
Steph
P.S.
If you are interested my parents are back together and trying to work on mending their relationship.
Sorry if I misspelled any words I am trying out some new contacts and right now things are just a little blurry.

Steph, I hope your parents can work it out. It was good to hear that they are trying to save their 43 years together. As Shania has to stay strong for herself and Eja you need to stay stong for yourself and your parents. I think Shania looks pretty darn good, too.
