Ohmigosh! These last 2 pics of Sam, Cody and you are unlabled. But the spot looks familiar.

More than five years ago now, I sat on a big rock like that, on a hillside, overlooking the STC parking lot, as darkness turned into light, the soft mists lifted, native birds began to sing, and I wrote about Opening Day, as the STC came to life for the first time, to the public in 2001.

Not sure it's the exact same rock, but may be in the same vicinity. My spot was to the right of the STC as you view it from the parking lot. Somewhere near where Shania's bus has been parked in recent times, possibly just above it.

Aw, thank you! And yes, that rock is across the STC lot. We took pictures of Cody and dad on that rock in 2003. WHAT a difference. I'll have to scan in that shot.

Boy, it's scary when I recognize that Drug Mart I don't remember our room number, but our view of that drug store was about the same. We went there everyday and got the newspapers with all the latest Shania writeups too.

Yep. There's a chain convenience store just beyond it, and you can see the A & P Grocery store beyond that, along the same side of Algonquin. On the horizon, is the ski hill, west of town.

Hey Steve, did you notice in the picture of the McIntyre Mine headframe, with Sheri and Cody, the actual building doesn't show the sun on it. But the reflection in the water of the same building, definitely does show the warm glow, of the sun near sundown?

Yes, isn't that unique. She really has some gorgeous shots. The "Sunset at the Oasis" is awesome.
