I am not sure if this has already been posted, but the waiting is finally over, and CMT Canada will be airing the Ultimate Shania Fan Contest from Vancouver.

Getting ready for it....just wait and see...

CMT Canada aired a 1 hour TV Special that tracked the 2 Calgary guys who won the Ultimate Shania Fan Contest last year and won the trip to the 2 Vancouver Concerts. Shania brought them on stage in the first concert and then they interviewed Shania and Shania interviewed them backstage the next day. They showed the whole onstage event and backstage interview. What was also interesting was how they showed the stage, lighting, pyro and Shania's costumes are put together.

The 2 guys interviewed each band member - found out that Roddy's favourite song on UP! is SNJAPF because it grabbed him musically. The band members do say that they really appreciate an enthusiatic audience, the noisier the better. They also love the in-the-round stage cause they get to intermingle more and move around.

Shania looks for enthusiam, people having fun and knowing the song's words as some things she looks for in bringing people up on stage.

It was a good show, quite informative.

For some reason, my VCR only taped half - some segments are missing so hopefully someone else taped the whole thing. If they air it again - I'll find out and tape it again.

I haven't seen the whole thing yet, I recorded it though....LOL!!!

So far I've seen a glimpse of when the guys (both 22 years old) were on stage with Shania during the first Vancouver show. And I also saw a glimpse of their interview, they gave Shania the game Cranium as a gift, since she's on the road so much.

I will keep you posted on more details later in the week, first I have to be good and finish some university papers.....ARGH!!!! Trust me I would much rather be watching SHANIA!!!!!

Here's some vidcaps. I didn't record this first 20 minutes cause I thought I hit the record button but I guess I didn't. So I missed the Pyro guy, Adrian(wardrobe), Roddy and BB on the couch, lighting guy(got one of him), Corey and Marc together. I'll get those vidcaps when the show re-airs on Friday. I posted them in order but the board mixed them up for some reason.
