And despite being nominated for five Junos, she said she hoped she didn't win any (even though she won country recording of the year at the non-televised segment of the awards last night). "If I win, I'm just going to make it very brief and quick and get outta there and leave room for everybody else to enjoy the rewards."
Twain confirmed she will definitely tour in the fall. "I don't know if I'll be starting in Canada right off the bat, I might be."
A Timmins-based reporter asked if she might play Northern Ontario or even her hometown, Twain said anything's possible. Her previous world tour began in Sudbury. "I'm sure it will," she said. "I mean the last time it did. I don't see why it wouldn't again ... I can't promise that I'd be back in Timmins with a tour but I would like to see it happen." (More on the 2003 Junos)
