It's so sad first her son at 20 yrs old and now her at 39. I feel so bad for her little baby girl who'll grow up without a mom  |

Yeah, it's a tradegy. I feel great sympathy for her little girl's loss, hopefully she'll grow up to be a positive rolemodel and won't dabble in drugs like her mother.

Sadly this didn't surprise me the least bit. I don.t intentially watch this celebrity garbage on TV but you really ca't help but catch it occasionally. The media created this women and it destroyed her-and I mean that literally. Anyone wanting to use the media to get rich and famous I suggest they contrast the lifestyles of folks like Anna and Britney with that of Shania. Once you get the media's attention they'll use you until they can't use you any more-and then they'll use you a bit more-if you let them. I know at times all of us question Shania's long absenses from the media but when things like this happen I think we need to understand and respect the reasons behind those disaapearances-EH? Doc

Good point DOC. With Shania, it's a good day if we hear a rumor.  Anyway, you are right on with this analysis. Some of these celebs like Britney, Madonna, and Anna Nicole are addicted to this press garbage it would seem. You are better equipped than I DOC to assess what happened to her, but with the massive weight loss and gains and losses again, etc., that couldn't be good, let alone her alcohol use.
