This is very good overall..since the first single has been released only to local radios in France...without any support from Mercury France...

UK #33 (from 16), unfortunatelly, Shania's album was between those few which had a big slip after the Holidays.

Post-Christmas sales caused a lot of movement (re-entries, rises, drops) so I guess the album was not marked down which explains its fall. Hopefully it can remain steady on the charts though.
Australia: 30-40
Sweden: 25-28
Denmark: 23-23
Eurochart: 13-15 (was 13 lw, not 14 sorry)
The album was certified Gold (15,000) in Austria on 12/7.

I'm not really sure, but I believe it is well over 500k. With the year end charts out, there may be a figure that is made available.
The new IFPI certs (for December) should come out this week, so hopefully the GH has been certfified for a million across Europe.
Another update:
Germany: 17-14

well finally we have the spanish chart,is has not been easy 'cause of christmas holidays
last week:88
this week:83
shania is up! in spain
well i think that if universal promotes don't,she can stay at worst 3-4 more weeks on the top100
party for two is the song of the most important radio promotions,is promoting the chart of the most important music radio station los40
in cadenaser, the most important adult radio,is promoting the real madrid soccer team matches
and in canal9,my local public tv is promoting a new program ,the late night of nuria roca, the leader os valencian tv nights.
go shania go.

I agree portacoino...Go Shania Go!...I love that new Don't video too...It is really so Spanish Country...I can imagine a lot of people in Spain, Portugal and Mexico are talking about it and I probably should mention that a lot of Central American and South American countries are probably talking about the video as it impacts their cultures as well...Shania was pretty clever to do a Spanish Country video...What do you think of it Portacoino??? I am curious about your impressions of the Don't video...

well i think that people has an idea of latins that's not the truth we are as everyone else.
we are not always on party and dacing flamenco or bullfighting.
it's true that that was the typical spanish things but today young people is so different we are like all the young people everywhere.
flamenco and bulls are only typical in the south of spain, the rest of the country don't dance "flamenco"
about "don't " in spain, well today one of the most important radio station has played for the first time the song, but i think that the video will not get so much promotion 'cause universal spain don't uses to promote so much shania.
i think that shania 's new video is more medieval than spanish,it remembers me "robin hood" but not spanish culture, maybe latin americans could say something different but spanish not,the only spanish things i can see are the horses and the sun but as i told you is more typical from the south that other parts of spain.
wish that with that song shania could achieve so much success ,is a good song,i love her ballads.
if you want to listen some good spanish albums try :
-la oreja de van gogh "lo que te conte mientras te hacias la dormida"
-vega "india"
-amaral "estrella de mar"
this 3 albums are some good examples that not all spanish music sounds like shakira, ricky martin, enrique iglesias...
