I was in my local HMV and struck UP a conversation with the manager and I learned something pretty neat but also rigged at the same time.
At my local store,there were 3 top female artists that drew the attention for holiday gifts and then other artists and they were

1. Sarah McLachlin (sp?)
2. SHANIA TWAIN
3. Dido
4. Coldplay
5. No Doubt
6. Sheryl Crow
7. Nelly Furtado
8. Michelle Branch
9. Britney Spears
10. Hilary Duff

If that is the case,why is UP! number 19 on the wall that numbers the CD display according to Billboards chart?
In October,the second shipment of UP! was shipped and you can tell which is the first or second shipment.The new shipment has 2 CD Set displayed in black on the sticker that is on the front of the CD.I personally am wondering if UP! is selling better than the numbers being released.
It says alot when UP! would come in at number 2 beating Dido,Coldplay and the other hot artists at the moment.UP! has been out for over a year so I think I am safe to say that with her rising sales that she is attracting new fans through her concerts,TV appearances,videos and singles.
Another fact is that we all remember that the FAFA CD single was defective and blank.HMV sold about 20 of them the first week before pulling them due to the defect.Only 3 people returned their copy upon discovering it was defective.So,either the rest of the people are collectors and don't play the CD or they are playing them and are "enjoying" the music
