Shania says the timing for the OC is very odd because...she just started a school project in a small school in Ontario, she's funding it herself. Project is grassroots. Talks about how kids can't function in school, can't just feed them we have to do other things. She has 2 other schools on board this year.

Why did Shania start the project?

Shania talks about her childhood. Says she grew up disadvantaged. Weren't alot of kids around her growing up that way. She did her best to hide it, made up stories, she was embarassed by it. She didn't want Child's Aid to step in, made sure the school didnt understand that she was starving...couldn't afford groceries for another week, that they were down to nothing. Nervous about the family getting seperated. When she grows up she wanted to help kids...she prayed so much as a kid she wanted music to take her away from all that hell...and she promised she would help...Then Shania loses it, starts bawling.

Martha:

I mean, I wish I could have really made poutine from scratch, make it the real way but it was OK. Wanted to introduce to Americans, it's a fun food. Up North it's a big thing to eat with vinegar...it's got to be white vinegar.

Shania said she didn't have time to eat Martha's version she had to run.

She's going to be on. It's about marketing, teams all have tasks, to market the ads for the perfume. They had a very tough job. Who ever had the most phone calls one.
Shania made an appearance on the show...it's all real time.

Was Donald nervous around you, flirting with you?

She hasn't seen it, doesn't know anything about it. Called her friend and said I'm going to Canada, can you tell me what it's about? Filled her in on some stuff. Says they can't get it right because she wasn't involved. Not saying they didn't put in a good effort. The actress was kind and wrote her a letter and wanted to be an authentic, wanted to do her best.
About sending them a note/CDs, Shania: I knew they wanted to do it well, was gracious but she couldn't get involved because it's not...I'd have to do it myself.

Doesn't know if she would get involved. Her family would have to be Ok with it, confortable with it. Her family wouldn't at this point. Her family would be affected by it, It's not just about "Me", and exclude people in my life. It's been a very rough life, more than what I have revealed. Doing positive things in her life, school program, apologizes for getting emotional earlier. Shania is very proud of it, been happening for a year. Marilyn was talking to Shania about it last year before she started it, just the two of them in a room.

He's doing great. He's a kind sweet boy, a very nice boy.
Hopefully when he's 16 you won't be reading about him in the tabloids that he's punched some guy in the face but for now he's a wonderful kid.
