Shania Cross Stitch
I finished the Shania cross stitch. It turned out so well!  It was like magic watching it take form. Her eye (the other eye is hidden by the top hat) came out so beautifully, and it kind of follows you. I love it.  You have to stand back away from it or you see all of the color changes in the stitching. But when you stand back it all flows together and looks beautiful. I bought a program to make my own patterns and will be doing more of Shania. I can hardly wait to start a new one.

If I e-mail you the pictures that I took would you please post them for me. (It looks better in person so when I meet everyone I will bring it) Oh, I have not gotten if framed yet so the picture of it is just on the scroll bar that I work on.

I LOVE the silver dress picture and I have allready printed out the program for it. I haven't started it yet but it will have at least 100 different colors of thread in it. I'm glad you like the first one.

Thank you so much for posting my cross stitch in the 'news' and on the fan club site. I'm very honored to think that it was good enough to show. As soon as I get some more done I will send you pictures. It will be awhile though. Just the hat on this one took about 15 hours to do. But those were hours of love.

Boy! That is some major work! It is so beautiful it looks like a painting. I know if I did that or even owned it - it would go right by the front door....so everyone could see!.....  |
