Megastar Shania Twain

In addition to "Walk A Little Straighter," the album produced another Top 10 hit, "I Got a Feelin,'" and put Currington in the spotlight.

But a little boost from country music megastar Shania Twain sent Currington's popularity soaring. Their duet, "Party for Two," reached the Top 10 early this year and greatly increased Currington's notoriety.

"It totally changes everything. Every time I go anywhere now, I get recognized more, just because of being in the video with her," Currington told USA Today.

Currington's rugged good looks have garnered considerable media attention. A Nashville magazine named the buff singer as one of the city's "25 Most Beautiful People," and Country Weekly magazine named him as one of country' music's hottest bachelors.

"I don't look at myself that way. If people think that, it's great. Hopefully, they like the music, too," he said.

In more ways than people can possibly imagine...I also would say it gave Currington's career a great ego boost as well...

I agree with all of you and he isn't too bad to look at either, but I do like his music! Before he did that video with Shania, I really didn't know what he looked like, but I did hear his songs on country radio and I liked them alot! I also bought his CD and I thought it was good!

He seems like a nice young man. I had heard of him because of "I Got A Fellin'", but yes he definitely got a rocket booster from Party For Two. He hasn't been heard from much recently though. I hope he can get back in the spotlight again.

At first when Shania chose him after Luke suggested him I was not convinced, but after I heard the country version I liked his voice better than Mark's one....it was a great combination for that song/video!

I thought so too, FV! I liked Billy's voice better on the country version better than what Mark did!

Billy has the better version of the song, Mark has the better video.

No, wish it was. But then it's not bad. He does a good job on it.

Yeah, I actually like the country version "musically" better, which for me is unusual. I think it is because the pop version music is too mechanical I guess, or too canned sounding. However, I think the video is better, probably because Mark's had a lot more experience than Billy in that area. It almost looks like Shania is more comfortable with Mark too. Maybe I'm seeing things, but it almost seems that way. What I don't understand is why the pop version never did well on VH1 and the radio. It was on pop radio here briefly, but then disappeared.

On the bright side, pop radio around my area is playing Don't quite a lot now.
