Shania Twain to Debut `Greatest Hits' Album on QVC

WEST CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-platinum recording artist Shania Twain has joined forces with QVC to offer her first ever "Shania Twain Greatest Hits" album in an exciting, live QVC broadcast on Monday, November 8 at 7:00 PM (ET) from the capital of country music, Nashville, Tennessee.

Twain will make a special appearance during the live, one-hour QVC presentation, which is being held on the eve of country music's biggest night - the annual CMA Awards. She will offer QVC shoppers her "Shania Twain Greatest Hits" album specially packaged with the Platinum Collection DVD. A limited quantity of the CD/DVD sets will be autographed by Twain. In addition, Twain will offer a DVD version of her popular "Up! Close & Personal" concert special, featuring Alison Krauss and Union Station, which originally aired in November 2003.

Well, I'm not really that sure, but my mom orders from QVC all the time, and she usually does it over the internet. But, I think if you want a signed one, you have to call in to get it. And, of course, if you want to talk to Shania, you have to call in. So, if you're looking to just buy the GH CD, order it online. But, if you want a signed one and want to talk to Shania, you have to call in.

I ordered by phone for Jeff Gordon Collectibles and what they do if there is a limited edition is they place u on hold if the lines are busy. However while u are on hold u are gauranteed a copy as long as u don't hang up before someone helps u. I believe they mention that while u are holding as well. At the same time u can see a counter at the bottom of the tv showing how many copies have been sold out of the number allowed.

You can also use automated ordering. As long as you've signed up with QVC, you can just dial in and follow the prompts. You won't get the chance to talk on-air, but you won't be stuck on hold, either.

I only have a cell phone and it cuts off all the time! I'm gonna freak out if I'm on hold for an autographed copy and it disconnects me! I was really hoping I could do this online.

From previous experience....... they will tell you when to call.

I called QVC. I was told that most likely,the autographed copies will be a different item number than the non autographed copies.
Also, to talk with Shania, I was told a testimonial number will appear on the screen. This is not an order number but a number to express the great things about the item being sold. It is also possible to be ASKED by the person taking your order to give a testimonial.
They expect signed copies to sell like "boom" so be ready!!
