I just saw the pictures...she looks STUNNING!!!!
When I saw her at ACMAs I found her a bit aged, but in these photos she looks amazing, she's very classy, I love her dress and her hair, she's very young-looking and she's perfect.

Elle s’est fait désirer mais la voilà finalement avec la syndicale demi-heure de retard que seules les superstars peuvent s’accorder. Son prénom signifie «Je suis ma route». Quinze minutes durant, celle de la chanteuse canadienne a croisé la nôtre. Dans un français presque impeccable que Shania Twain, s’est livrée. La première fois en neuf ans sur la Riviera.
– Ce gala constitue votre première apparition publique ici. Pourquoi?
– (Surprise) Je suis toujours en public! Comme tout le monde, je sors et je fais mes courses au supermarché. Je suis bien ici et je garde profil bas. Ce lac et ces montagnes inspireraient n’importe qui. Mais je cherche plus une qualité de vie que l’inspiration. Comme au Canada, la nature tient une place prépondérante. Là-bas, il était devenu cependant difficile pour moi de me préserver.
– Ne craignez-vous pas que votre présence à Corseaux n’en devienne moins discrète?
– Si je choisis judicieusement mes apparitions publiques et si je crois aux causes défendues, ça ira. Le Ballet Romand offre aux enfants la possibilité de vivre leur rêve. Ou tout au moins de s’essayer à l’art. Une expérience que chaque jeune devrait avoir.
– Votre mère vous l’avait donné…
– Elle m’a effectivement beaucoup poussé. Ça n’a pas toujours été facile. Mais avec le recul, je comprends qu’elle avait vu juste. J’ai eu beaucoup de chance qu’elle cultive mon talent.
– Où en est votre prochain album annoncé pour 2008?
– On y travaille. C’est un long processus. La tonalité sera Pop. Au niveau de l’écriture, je garde le cap. Celui de sujets féminins traités avec profondeur et légèreté.
– Et si la magie n’opérait plus?
– L’échec ne me fait pas peur. Je n’y pense même pas. Cet album, je le fais pour moi. Par amour de la musique. Pas pour la gloire.

that's not true, they understand the differentiation between pop, rock, ciountry , folk.

it's just sounds right now, that it won't be much different from UP!. And for me that's disappointing. I really don't see Shania as a pop singer.And pop is so dead...
