This underwear thing should get interesting.
In the past couple of years jeans have become lower and lower cut. That in turn has caused the underwear to get skimpier and skimpier so it didn't show above the jeans. Now the fashion dictators have reversed themselves for the spring showings and now are featuring very high cut jeans.
Now, Shania has always been very inventive clothes-wise. I think she loves to dress up. Sometimes her getups work well; sometimes they don't in my opinion. Here, Shania is striking out in a bold new direction deliberately letting her underwear show. Of course plain white panties won't do so she has multicoloured ones.
Has anyone else done this? If Shania is alone in deliberately exposing her underwear, it will be interesting to see if it catches on. If it does, it demonstrates the power of her image. It also provides an extended life for all those low cut jeans now in girls' closets. I would imagine the underwear manufacturers can respond with flashy coloured products pretty quickly if there is a market.

WOW! Thank you Andreas!  Now we can officially start the discussion about the color of the underwear..lol...I keep hearing great things about this performance on Wetten Dass....all European fans are so happy....and the pop version of the single is doing very well in Europe...More great stuff is coming ahead..just think, just think at CMAs Award Show..we are going to be so nervous waiting for the show to start! Another great Shania day!
