Since many Shania fans think that it is indeed Shania singing backup vocals on the new Michael Bolton's single "Only a Woman Like You"..let's test our Shania ears.. LOL..Vote to say whether you do believe it is Shania or not singing on the track...we have at least until Feb 14 (when Michael Bolton will be at the Radio Show..) to cast the votes..then the ones who got it wrong will have to pay a Krispy Kreme to the ones who got it right..

According to Bolton's website, he will be on the Delilah Show (which is broadcast by several radio stations..) on Feb. 14..he is the ultimate Valentine's singer! I have found the radio show website, but I cannot find any link to the "on the air"..

I can play it, but it doesn't always play through because my computer is old by today's standards. However I can say I have heard it through. Still I am not sure, but it does sound like she is there in the chorus. There is some harmonizing that reminds me of the WIM's chorus. I am hoping I am right.

Newsflash!!!!!

Terry just asked me to play "Only A Woman Like You". Now this is a tough sell. First of all, my old PC has trouble keeping up with Real Player, so it plays a little of the song, cuts out, plays more, cuts out, etc., but we got through it. Secondly, Terry has never cared much for Michael Bolton. That said, her rating was an A, i.e., she liked it a lot. The only exception she had was that she detected a slight "country" flare in the song, but said it not a big deal to her. Myself, I don't look at it that way. I just think it is a very pretty ballad.

I just heard this song! Thanks Spock! I'm a little too late to vote but IMO that IS Shania singing the high tenor part and either Mutt or Michael (overdubing) singing the lower baritone part on this song. I really like it! I can hear Shania's influence all through the song! This will surely be a hugh hit for Michael! Hearing this really makes me miss Shania! I hope we get a single soon!

After hearing her sing on Up! I definitely think the voice is Shania's

Wow! First of all a new post to a really old thread But I am surprised at the percentages for the poll...."Feeling of a woman in love" before the big break in the song.....my goodness she's there for sure!
