I think all the responses are great-- well, except for the last one. Who says we need more Brad Paisley??? LOL!

I expected such a response from a "traditionalist" though.

"Remember when Country Music Magazine ran "O Sister, Where Art Thou? An Open Letter to Shania?" It begged her to come back soon. Well, here are the responses, in this month's edition.
Thanks to James Hunter for his open letter to Shania. I agree wholeheartedly. She is not traditional, but she is a great entertainer. She has such a powerful & charismatic personality, her music is so unique, high energy & fun; and she is a beautiful person, inside and outside. I like all of her music, concerts & videos and can hardly wait for her to come back.

Thank you so much for doing an article on the absence of Shania. I'm one of her biggest fans, and I miss her so much, it hurts. I can't wait to hear the new album, and hopefully, she'll have another tour! If the new tour is as good as her last one, she's definitely going to rock this world all over again! I congratulate her and Mutt on the arrival of Eja! We miss you, Shania!!!

Thank you for the insightful article on Shania Twain. I am one of the millions waiting patiently for that next CD by the best team in music. Their last co-production--Eja Lange--continues to take the highest priority in their lives. I've waited years, Shania, I can wait a little longer. Release that next CD when you're good and ready, little mama, and not one second before. I'm not the only one who knows it'll be well worth the wait.

When I looked at the front cover of your February issue, there was a headline entitled "Open Letter To Shania." I automatically assumed it would be anti-Shania. In the past, I've found this magazine to be in touch with what country music is all about. Needless to say, I was shocked to discover that author James Hunter was in fact saying, "Come back, we need you." In my
opinion, we need Shania as much as we need Rascal Flatts. There is a reason so many of her songs have landed on the Pop charts. She sings pop, not country. Granted, there is a song here and there that fits into the genre, but we certainly don't need her. Country music can always use the exposure, but I personally am sick and tired of all the zebra-and-leopard-colored cowboy hats at the country bar that come as a result. What we need are more artists like Brad Paisley.
