In Style magazine, February 2003 - Drew Barrymore front cover

There is an article beginning on page 223 called "the twain gang - Nashville natives welcome back Shania (and say hello, Dolly!) at a Moroccan-theme hoedown".

Some quotes:

"'There's excitement in the air. Shania is finally back,' said singer Jamie O'Neal.

"As for Twain, she was more nervous than excited, because the party afforded her a long awaited opportunity to meet her idol, Dolly Parton. 'I've just had Dolly on the brain all night, to be honest,' Twain said as she entered the party and scanned the room for blond."

Dolly said 'I'm on serious business to meet Shania! I love her music and what she stands for.'

"The resulting diva tete-a-tete was a show of big hair, warm hugs and flawlessly manicured hand-holding. Even after Parton had departed, Twain was still choked up. 'I cried, of course... Dolly was fantastic. I have to get my composure back.'"

Wynonna said "I'm here to support Shania, to tell her to spread her wings and fly."

There are several pictures from the event. Shania is in two. The first is of her alone, it's about 1/4 of a page and it's absolutely beautiful!! I see Chris making wallpaper with it. The other is a little smaller and she's with Vince Gill and Amy Grant. She's beautiful in that as well.

It's three pages and there's a 4th page featuring recipes of some of the food served at the party.

I guess I will have to go buy the magazine...or get my sister too.


I hope Dolly and Shania do a project together!!! Wow..Shania got all choked up at meeting her idol. It is so funny to hear Shania, a celebrity getting all excited about meeting another celebrity. I guess deep down, Shania really is that little girl from Timmins with big dreams.

that first solo picture of Shania is AMAZING!! She looks so sweet and young and all things Shania basically And so cool, the first time I ever saw Shania was in passing and I thought she was Amy Grant for a minute so its nice to see the two of them side by side.

wow......this really is a small world. The two voices that will always stop me dead in my tracks are Shania and Amy Grant. They both go right to my heart....and now a photo of them together. This is a real treat.

Shania is in the IN STYLE magazine (Drew Barrymore cover) on page 223. There is an article & pics reguarding her Nashville party. Shania gets to meet Dolly Parton for the first time at this party & she talks about how it made her feel.

I picked it up today..will scan EVERYTHING!!! The tent was set up really really cool.
