Too bad NASHVILLE!!!! HEY1

This from CMT.....

Meanwhile, it's total gridlock in the upper reaches of the country albums chart with Shania Twain's continuing grasp on the top position.

.................just thought I would throw this in here:

COUNTRY COMFORTS: Country music had plenty to crow about last year, ending 2004 with sales up 12%, and country artists selling 78 million albums, compared with 69 million OTC in 2003. Leading the way was Luke Lewis' Universal Music Nashville with 22%, thanks to chart-toppers Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Johnny Cash, George Strait and Julie Roberts. Following Universal in the C&W chase were Nashville labels RLG (20%), Warner (16%), Sony (11%) and Capitol (7%). (1/14p)

Interesting, even with Gretchen, Sony came in third.
