VH-1 Country Channel
Does anyone get this channel? It's not the regular VH-1 channel, it a channel made up by VH-1 but with country videos. Where I am you can get it on a salette (I don't know if I spelled that right) cable but it too expensive for me to get the rest of the channels.

I get it. I like it because it's all videos. 24/7 They also have "listening parties" where they will play all of a new CD, so you can hear the whole thing and decide if you want it or not. Nice.

Yes Ihave it. Watch it sometimes. I agree it is nice to have videos 24/7. It's #143 and I also have the Classic Rock Station right next to it on Channel 144. Every Tuesday, they have something like Tuesday Twosomes? They play back to back hits by artists. It's cool. The trouble with VH1 or CMT, GAC is that they advertise more than they play music or anything else, so it is nice to have these stations.

VH1 Country is my favorite station as they have no commercials, only some promos for VH1. It is one of 8 MTV-VH1 stations none of which have commercials. They are available on digital cable. Only Classic Rock and MTV2 are carried by Directv and Dish. They play Shania quite a bit but not SNJAPF yet. They have a top 20 on the VH1 website, no SNJAPF. I have watched it for several years on C-band (Big Ugly Dish), 4dtv C3 Ch 805. For some reason reception is weak on these channels Of course no new BUDs are being installed and there are only about 100,000 with 4dtv. But digital cable is growing.  |

I have the channel also, but I never watch it. We click back and forth to MTV2 a lot though.
