Well here's a new story to add about my trip to Timmins and it's not by choice. Yesterday I got home from work and in my mail box was a BILL from 407 Express Toll Route. Obviously Greg or I one went through a Toll both without paying for the toll. LOL Don't know how you can do that and not even know it. So here we are with a Toll that should have cost 2.17, now add on 2 for Non Transponder charges, 2 for Account Fee and .14 for GST, gives you a bill of 6.31. All I can say is that my mind or his must have still been in Timmins and we were oblivious to our surroundings. Although, the people doing the search on my license plate probably got a kick out of it. What Shania fan would skip out on a toll charge!! SHAME SHAME!!

Tee, you didn't miss a toll booth. There aren't any. Every car that uses the 407 is photographed both when it gets on and when it leaves. They read your licence and eventually you get your bill. Because it's a toll road, I don't use it much. If it's rush hour, the 407 is a good idea. If it isn't, frankly, the time it takes to get to the 407 or to get back to the 401 from the 407 cancels out any benefit from taking it.

Hey Roger, Thanks for clearing that matter up for me. Here Greg and I really thought we were losing it, especially since neither one of us could remember going through a toll and not paying. LOL Granted we are suffering from CRS disease but not remembering a toll both is a bit much.
