Toby Keith at Penn State
Just got home from a weekend in State College (Penn State University) and my first Toby Keith concert. Toby ain't no Shania but he is a great showman and the concert was great. The set up was on the end of Bryce Jordan center. Great opening act with Blake Shelton. Toby's opening was really good and he had the audience in his big ol hands all night. Sold out performance. He did all his popular stuff and more. Very patriotic ending. He was behind barriers the whole concert so no autographs. No one went up on stage. The sound set up was borderline at at times I had difficulty hearing vocals well from the second row (Boy I sure could feel the bass in my chest though! LOL). His band is highly talented and had fun all night. Had 3 scantly clad females dancing and sing backup behind the band most of the night. Pyro and confetti ending. All and all an excellent experience. His voice was great, he's a great showman, and he seems to be a great guy as well-lots of fun. Highly recommend the concert if you have a chance to see him. DOC BILL

Tonight was just one lyric in the ballad of your time,
A never-ending song of love and the reason for your rhyme.
