Couldn't open this site. But I kinda doubt it would apply to Canada too.

We got so fed up with telemarketing calls, appeals from charities, etc. we got call display phones. So now if we can see it is one of those calls, we don't pick up. And if the sender has blocked his/her number, we don't pick up. Result = peace.

There was a place you could write to some time ago to stop telemarketers, and I don't remember where, but I did it at the time and have had very little trouble since. It was only supposed to be good for a couple of years, but it's been much longer than that. We have the telephone ID too. It's a great help. There is the National one now as you mentioned, and Maine has one as well that you can sign up for from the website. It probably is only for the US Roger. Gee, maybe your esteemed Government could manage to find the time to look at it since they seem to be into real important issues recently
