wow, sheri. the last time i bought my airline tickets to timmins for the first convention was almost $400 round trip from Philly. I had to eat my tickets (well, work did) because I just started a new job two months before the convention and asked me not to take the vacation and they would pay my expenses that were not refundable. I am going for fancon 5.

i still plan on going to timmins.. in aug.. i just have to remember to save up for it .. thats if i dont spend it first .. lol i do have enough frequent flyer miles saved up ill have to see if i can use that if not ill be driving again...

We initially had EVERY intention of returning for the 2007 con. Until one of my bosses' trial got set for the same week. Disaster.
BUT... there is a good chance that that case will be resolved in a matter of weeks.  Not definite yet, but in the works. KEEP GOOD THOUGHTS folks! |

WOOOHOOO, glad to see you will be going Steven, I hope to meet you there. 
I am still planning on going as of today. I am also thinking about staying in Toronto a couple of days before, to go sight seeing. Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels? Where would Tracy and the bus pick us up or where do we meet them? |

It is a 99% certainty that the trial keeping us away from fancon 5 is resolved. One final court pleading needs to be approved and filed and it's a done deal. Fingers WAY crossed!!!!! |
