Many of you are very fond of Leahy, the fiddling folk group who opened for Shania during her last tour. This evening's Canada Day show from Parliament Hill which is televised across the nation, featured Leahy as one of the headline acts.

In an interesting piece of counter-programming, CMT ran Alyssa Lansdell's In Conversation with Shania in the same time spot.

At 10m CTV is showing an edited version of the Juno Awards, keeping just the entertainment acts and omitting the actual awards. And of course they are keeping the Shania as host part.

Glad to see Leahy in the limelight.

After attending their recent performance in Columbia, Md, I bought their first album "Leahy." It is wonderful, and I haven't stopped listening to it yet whenever I am out on my back porch (where it has been placed in my portable CD player).

I also own their second album "Lakefield," and have gotten much enjoyment from it, too.
